Autobiography Chapter 2: Super Rebellious and chasing after girls
31 December 1995When you talk about education, of course I have to start from kindergarten, but my impression of the life in kindergarten was not very deep. I've already forgotten about a lot of things. The only thing I can remember the most was at that time I had already started to "chase girls". That girl had short hair, as for her name, I can't remember. The deepest impression was at that time I took away her kettle. It made her so angry that she chased after me in the classroom while scolding and shouting at me wanting to get it back. It really was funny.
Shortly after, I was in the first year of Laksa elementary school. Due to the fact I was already very naughty at such a young age, plus the rules in that school were very strict, so I was often punished by the teacher. So the teacher always files complaints to my parents: "Even though Ting Fung is a very intelligent boy, but it's a pity he is sometimes really too naughty".
Besides always being punished, in fact I had some contribution to the school. Maybe it was because I had some talent in music. That's why even though I was only in year one, I was already in the school band. I was mainly responsible for the "cha cha", I can still remember when the older brothers and sisters in the sixth year had their graduation party, I had a part in the performance onstage too!
But, when I talk about the most thrilling and interesting thing in Laksa, it didn't happen in the school but it was to do with my escort car. I can remember at that time I would do the same thing everyday which was to get into uncle Wong's escort car. So that day after home time, I didn't get into the escort car and I started to wander about everywhere from Laksa. Until nearly 7, I felt tired, only then did I realise I didn't know how to get home. So I went to my sister's international school, I don't know why I knew how to do that. As a result I got into my sister's escort car and went home. When I returned home, of course it was unavoidable that I had to suffer some punishment. At night I was beaten by my mother. She even kicked me outside the house to be punished by standing for two hours. Even though it was like this, but I didn't regret doing this, instead I felt very happy, because I was 6-7 years old and I could cross the road by myself and wander about. That feeling of excitement really cannot be described by writing.
After I had finished the first year, due to the fact that my parents didn't want me to bear their fame in Hong Kong to continue education. Being excessively gazed at and noticed by others. So they sent me away to Canada to be educated. They hoped that I would live a normal person's life and to grow up in a normal environment.
