Nicholas Tse rumoured to be shut out for wanting to go solo, EEG: the contract is not up yet

There have been media reports that according to rumours within the circle: Nicholas Tse's 15 year contract with EEG is about to end, he may start up his own company after this and sign his wife Cecilia Cheung as the company's first artist. The rumour also mentions that Nicholas Tse and EEG have already landed into a "seesaw battle", in order to force Nicholas tse to their will, EEG have stopped all of Nicholas Tse's activity, even including his participation in the promotion for "Storm Warriors" and "Bodyguards and Assassins".

Besides this, Mani Fok expressed that they have already met with lawyers, if the media write up false reports again, EEG will not stand down.
