Nicholas Tse tragically beaten up by triads in "The Stool Pigeon", says he loves it

In the movie "The Stool Pigeon" Nicholas Tse switches from his usual roles, he plays a weak character who can't fight back. In one of the scenes Nic has just got out of jail, he immediately goes to find his most beloved sister Sherman Chung, hoping to save her, yet he gets beaten up; he's punched and kicked, he can't fight back as he has no strength. He says that this role isn't a hero or anything, he says he's a pitiful rat hated by all, who can be beaten up whenever, very tragic. But unexpectedly he said that he was really satisfied having been surrounded by 4, 5 triads and beaten up, all he had to do was beg: "No more! No more!" Not having to hit back to him is actually quite fresh.
Sherman Cheung plays a prostitute character, you really feel for her, when she sees her only family Nic being beaten up, she breaks down in tears. She said: "I was really overcome, after the director shouted Cut, I couldn't stop. Seeing Nic's bloodied face from the beating, that helplessness of not being able to help him really got to my heart." Director Dante Lan praised her, he said even though she doesn't have much acting experience she acted like a pro.
