Before filming "Spirit of the Sword", Qiao Zhen Yun felt Nicholas Tse was a very cool person, it was not until he started filming the series, "I felt that was a the media misleading it completely, Nicholas Tse is someone who really thinks of others." When filming, Qiao Zhen Yun was often touched by little things Nicholas Tse did, "The director ordinarily looks after the Hong Kong stars, they say it's fine for them to talk in Cantonese, but in scenes that Nicholas Tse has lines with us in, he would consciously speak Mandarin; he is very professional when filming fight scenes, he often takes the imitative and asks for scenes to be done again, he doesn't have put out the pose of a star." When outside of filming time, Nicholas Tse also tells people jokes, the one that gave Qiao Zhen Yun the deepest impression was: Nicholas Tse said, he filmed a movie with his father when he was 7-8, he made a lot of trouble, his mother warned him when he heard someone say action, he must stop and not move a muscle. Afterwards young Tse naughtily climbed onto the bamboo rack, no one could stop him, mother Tse had a brainwave and yelled action, little Tse immediately stopped moving. "When talking about these childhood jokes, Nicholas Tse was very much like a kid, he was gesticulating while laughing." Qiao Zhen Yun said.
