SETV "Double Dragon" Nicholas Tse and Wilber Pan battle it out

The "8th SETV Music Awards" made a stop in Zhengzhou, the two vote pullers Nicholas Tse and Wilber Pan battled onstage, Nicholas Tse only sang two songs and quickly left leaving Wilber Pan to sing six songs, he beat Nicholas Tse on popularity, the show ended with screams of fans wanting more.

Nicholas Tse, wearing back jeans appeared onstage as the first artist to pull votes, he sang "Grateful For Your Love" and "Because Of Love Therefore Love", even though he's already a father of two, but Nicholas Tse still kept his rebellious side, with the classic move of putting his foot on the sound box he showed his rebellious attitude, after he finished the two old Mandarin songs, the fans were expecting him to continue singing new songs, who could have thought that Nicholas Tse would hurriedly leave the stage leaving the fans wanting more.

Towards how Nicholas Tse only sang two songs to pull votes in Zhengzhou, there have been rumours that Nicholas Tse didn't want to take the limelight for the "main stage" from Wilber Pan, because in recent years he's been focused on movies, so Nicholas Tse wants to yield the award and doesn't want to fight with Wilber Pan for the "SETV Music Awards Most Popular Male Singer in Hong Kong and Taiwan", a worker revealed that Nicholas Tse only arranged it like this because he had to go meet up with his family.

To this the show's producer Yu Fei Rong expressed: she was very satisfied with Nicholas Tse and Wilber Pan's performances and that you definitely can't decide the award based on the number of songs sung, she expressed that on the 25th of September the they will go to Xi'an to pull votes, Nicholas Tse will perform last to pull votes, she guaranteed he would sing six songs to make up for Zhengzhou.
