The movie "Storm Warriors", directed by the Peng brothers, has a new trailer is up on the official website a few days ago, the scenes are colourful and intense, the style of the moves are quick and forceful, the comic feel is even more clear cut than the "Storm Riders" 10 years ago.

The movie is the sequel to the "Storm Riders" movie 10 years ago, it is taken from another part of the classic comic book "Fung Wan", it has a very different style from original traditional swordsmen films, ""Storm Warriors" is also the first time the Chinese movie industry is making use of blue screen technology from Hollywood, "the visual effect that "300" gave the world makes people full of hope for this movie that is combining blue screen technique with traditional Chinese swordsmen, the image and colour created by computer special effects will be the biggest superiority the Peng brothers have with this sequel.

"Storm Warriors" is being funded by Universe Film Productions and Chengtian Entertainment International, they've found Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng to reprise their roles as Cloud and Wind, the two don't look like they've aged at all; in the trailer, Simon Yam plays the big baddie Godless and he takes a lot of the limelight, 3 lines come from him, especially the one "From now on I am the Martial Arts Legend", this one left the deepest impression. The story narrates Godless (Simon Yam) and his son Juet Sum (Nicholas Tse) wanting to have the power of the emperor, they capture people from the martial arts world to make them submit to them, Wind, Cloud and martial arts legend Nameless (Kenny Ho) get badly injured while fighting with Godless. Cho Cho (Tiffany Tang) falls into a coma after blocking a hit for Cloud, making Cloud feel very guilty. In order to protect Jianghu, Wind risks himself to learn evil martial arts. During which, he meets the other love of his life Second Dream (Charlene Choi). The real target for Godless' invasion is for a tomb at Ling Yun Ku, Wind, Cloud and Godless fight their final battle here.

The Peng brothers were the film editors for "Storm Riders", now they are already great Chinese directors in the international movie scene, ghost movies and scary movies are their speciality, they are switching to mainstream blockbuster this time round, they should be bringing audiences an even bigger surprise, according to reports, since August of last year when filming stopped in Thailand, "Storm Riders" has been in post production, it is being produced by famed Hong Kong special effects company Fat Face Production who have worked on "Re-Cycle", "The Warlords".

The movie is set to be released on the 17th of December.
