Overall Rating:
Starring: Nicholas Tse, Donnie Yen, Shawn Yue, etc...
Summary: Tiger Wong (Nicholas Tse) unwittingly takes Lousha Death Plague, a token decreed by the leader of the Lousha Gate, Shibumi, hence is ambushed by triad gangs. As fate has it, Dragon Wong (Donnie Yen), a bodyguard works for a triad boss, saves Tiger and discovers that Tiger is his brother. Turbo Shek (Shawn Yue), a blonde youth who plays nunchakus, meanwhile, befriends with the brothers in the fierce fight. In the super power showdown and endless killings in the Jiang Hu, only these three back street boys can fight for justice in the community. This film is a tale of heroism and heart-pounding martial arts piece adapted from media magnate Tony Wong Yuk-long¡¦s well-known comic. This sensational action packed film transfuses the spirit of the period style martial arts with a modern touch. Its fights are fantastical yet authentic and innovative; imagery lavish yet realistic.
Reviewed by big dandan on 14th July 2010 This movie is just ok! There are some nice fights from Nic Tse in here were he can show off his kicking skills and Yuen Wah also has one good fight. But at times the wires makes the fights look dumb, the final fight is also pretty boring once Donnie Yen comes into action it's just more look at me looking cool but fighting wise there wasn't much going on!
Reviewed by Simonack on 13th June 2010 Funny movie, action is OK because I saw a lot of impossible flying fighting...I think they should really stick to actual realistic martial arts.
Reviewed by kawaiijack on 16th February 2010 This is a typical kung-fu action movie. Very entertaining and at times not as predictable as one would think. There is a little romance thrown in but I feel it wasn't needed. Great acting, great fight, and a good story line. I recommend you watch it.
